My name is Alan Oakes and myself and along my Wife, Marie, we are the home owners of this property in Woodland Hills, California.

Question: Is there a benefit to working with a design & build firm?

Yes, I think so—because the saying “you dont know what you dont know” is really true in this case. We’ve lived in 16 homes and remodeled many homes. But we’ve never done the type of work that we’ve done. We never went down to the studs and changed complete bathrooms.

There were a lot of surprises that we didn’t expect. Itay, Greenworks, and his team were constantly looking for ways that we can upgrade and improve the things we needed to change.

One of the examples was looking at Plywood under the floor, but that made one of the biggest differences to this house by doing that.
